The Preliminary Hearing of the Edinburgh Tram Inquiry, scheduled to take place on Wednesday (19 August), has been postponed as Chairman Lord Hardie is recuperating after a short hospital stay.
A spokesman for the Inquiry said: “Lord Hardie had a short unexpected stay in hospital last week and as a result will not be in the Inquiry office this week.
“A new date for the Preliminary Hearing will be announced in due course. The work of Lord Hardie’s inquiry team continues in line with the published order of events.”
